.... long live Snow White.

I've had a relationship with Black Beauty for some 15 years and it has been a great relationship. She's always been good to me, and I've always been good to her.

I strove to keep her clean and well maintained. In return, she has made us look good together and been a reliable partner.

In sum, it's been a mutually satisfying relationship.

But it all changed on Monday, 6 March 2023. With little notice, I ran off with Snow White and left Black Beauty sitting there!

I feel awful.

While I knew this day would come, I just wasn't really prepared for it. She wasn't either. 

In a few brief moments, I pulled her beside her replacement, emptied her of whatever she held for us, removed all symbols of our long relationship, and left her on the curb alone in an unfamiliar parking lot.

That was really cold, I know. But I felt that keeping the breakup short was the best for both us.

Snow White has now taken up residence in the place once reserved for Black Beauty.

Long live the new queen!

And I'll work through my guilt for having done such a deed.
